Restaurants Reviews and Beer Links

Although I’m leaving behind the fair city of Columbus, OH, I will still always think of it as home.  It’s a beautiful blend of food, arts, culture, and community that captures the hearts of those living there.  A few folks asked me to post the link to my Urbanspoon profile, as I’ve left a series of restaurant votes, reviews, and recommendations out there for folks to read.  I won’t be able to update this for a while, but if you’re holding down the fort in C-Bus (or just visiting) and need a place to grab a bite, check out some of the reviews I’ve written over the past year or so:

Along with the foodie portion of my personality, I’m also quite a beer geek, too (and I mean that in a good way!).  Below is my Beer Advocate file, which I will certainly be drawing upon when searching out the best place in any given city to enjoy a pint:

Additionally, here a few pictures from a few of our recent beer tastings here in Columbus.  Admittedly, these have nothing to do with my upcoming trip or this blog, but I thought you fellow beer geeks out there might enjoy them anyway:

This was a particularly big tasting

The “Rare” Bourbon County Stout (the green label) is quite expensive, but worth every penny as one of life’s occasional indulgences.

(the three unlabeled bottles are actually the Rum Barrel Aged Oil of Aphrodite – one of my favorites)
