Food 3 – Akashiyaki

Another variation is known as Akashiyaki (from the city of Akashi), in which the chunks of octopus are coated in a egg batter as opposed to the more traditional tempura-like batter, and then are to be dipped in dashi (a seawood stock) on their way up to your mouth
