Samgyetang – a soup consisting of an entire young chicken stewed up with ginseng and glutinous rice. This dish is consumed during the hot and humid summers, as well as a preventative medice for illness. Additionally, it is usually acompanied by a glass of insamju, or ginseng wine, just to open up the blood vessles and really drive home the restorative qualities of ginseng
