Espresso and Grappa, a great way to end any meal. Grappa is, again, not specific to Venice, but is served all over Italy as a digestive (though it is really just an excuse to continue drinking). It is essentially a high-alcohol spirit made from the leftover grape skins and stems after the wine-making process. And if you really want to be bold, much like adding frothy cream to espresso yields a cappucino, adding grappa to espresso yields a caffe corretto (or coffee “corrected”)
